{"id":134,"date":"2013-04-02T22:12:40","date_gmt":"2013-04-02T22:12:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wineskinproject.net\/blog\/?p=134"},"modified":"2013-04-03T05:01:49","modified_gmt":"2013-04-03T05:01:49","slug":"good-samaritan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wineskinproject.net\/blog\/good-samaritan\/","title":{"rendered":"The Good Samaritan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because the story of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wineskinproject.net\/pdf\/good%20Samaritan.pdf\">The Good Samaritan<\/a> is so well known, I felt I could take more liberties than usual, and I had a lot of fun flipping it around so that the parable was the reality and the reality the parable. <!--more-->Aside from that, I performed all my usual Wineskin Project duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>made the best defense I could of the priest and lawyer who pass the robbed man by on the road &#8211; a defense that I think I would personally adopt myself in a similar situation<\/li>\n<li>pushed the thought experiment to an extreme by making the man who was rescued a total jerk<\/li>\n<li>pointed out the oddity in this story that Jesus&#8217; answer to the question of &#8220;Who is my neighbor&#8221; doesn&#8217;t really answer the question at all!
