(Were you expecting anything else?)<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here, perhaps for the first time in these plays, I let my own biases and theological preferences rule the day, which I&#8217;ve said I&#8217;d try never to do. I take sides! I&#8217;ve always thought it was a terrible fate for Martha to have been cut off and put down like that after making a perfectly reasonable complaint about her sister, and of course, any answer she might have made lost to history because the Gospels were written by men and Jesus was, well, <em>Jesus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ve done what I can to even the score. I hope you enjoy my version of how that evening ought to have turned out. (And who knows?
